GTA 6 Vehicles: Confirmed Cars, Bikes, Boats & Aircraft

GTA 6 vehicles shown across the two official trailers cover the standard franchise spread — sports cars, sedans, SUVs, motorcycles, ATVs, boats, jet skis, and helicopters — set across the state of Leonida. Rockstar Games has not published a model list, named manufacturers, or detailed any handling specifics. Everything below is drawn from on-screen footage in Trailer 1 and Trailer 2; fictional in-game brand names will be confirmed only at or after launch.

What’s confirmed by trailers

The two trailers function as a vehicle catalog by category, not by model. Each category below is sourced from a visible appearance in official footage rather than from rumor or leaked builds.

HelicoptersTrailer 1, 0:21; Trailer 2, 2:20Civilian helicopters appear over beaches and offshore parties.

Aircraft beyond helicopters — fixed-wing planes, ultralights, sea-planes — have not been clearly shown in either trailer. Their presence is plausible given series precedent but not confirmed.

Why no model names yet

Every prior modern GTA title has used fictional in-game brands (Pegassi, Bravado, Maibatsu, Dewbauchee, Shitzu) inspired by real-world manufacturers. Rockstar reveals these brands gradually — typically through the in-game internet sites and the Newswire after launch. For GTA 6, no brand names, vehicle nameplates, or class listings have been published on the official site as of May 2026. Any “confirmed model list” circulating online is fan inference from silhouettes in trailer frames, not Rockstar messaging.

Vehicles tied to story moments

Two trailer sequences place vehicles at the center of the narrative rather than the background.

  • Lucia’s convertible (Trailer 1, 0:24). A red convertible on a Vice City highway at night, framed by overhead signage for VCI Airport and Catalan Blvd. The shot is one of the clearest hero-vehicle moments in the reveal trailer.
  • Jet ski with Jason and Lucia (Trailer 2, 2:20). The protagonists cross open water in front of a yacht and a helicopter, doubling as a tonal beat about leisure crime in the Vice City the second trailer paints.

Both scenes establish vehicle types associated with the leads but again do not name specific models.

What returning systems are expected

Rockstar has not described GTA 6’s vehicle systems in any official briefing. Based on franchise history — and only as continuity, not as confirmation — these systems have been standard since GTA V:

  • A radio and customization layer (in-game music plus paint, performance, wheel options)
  • A garage / impound system for keeping personal vehicles
  • A spread of land, sea, and air classes with distinct handling
  • An in-game vehicle website (Southern San Andreas Super Autos, Legendary Motorsport, etc.) acting as the buyable catalog

Whether each system returns unchanged, expanded, or reworked is unknown. Take-Two Interactive’s investor materials have not detailed GTA 6 mechanics.

What’s missing from the trailer evidence

Several categories common to past entries are absent from public footage so far:

  • Fixed-wing aircraft — no jets, prop planes, or biplanes shown clearly.
  • Heavy commercial vehicles — semi trucks, buses, and trains have not been highlighted.
  • Emergency vehicles — police interceptors are visible in pursuit scenes, but ambulances and fire trucks have not been featured.
  • Military / special vehicles — no tanks, attack helicopters, or military hardware in either trailer.

These omissions are not statements that the vehicles are absent from the game — only that Rockstar has not chosen to show them yet.

Status

GTA 6 vehicles are confirmed at the category level for cars, motorcycles, ATVs, multiple boat types, jet skis, and helicopters, all drawn from Trailers 1 and 2. Specific models, brand names, customization depth, and the full aircraft roster remain unannounced. Expect Rockstar to roll out details closer to launch through additional Newswire posts and gameplay-focused trailers, as is the studio’s pattern. This hub will be updated to link individual model pages as Rockstar names them.
