Vapid is the in-fiction Grand Theft Auto stand-in for Ford, supplying the series' muscle cars, pickups, off-roaders, and everyday American sedans. It has featured in every HD-era title with a roster that includes the Dominator (a Mustang analog), the Sandking, the Sadler, the Slamvan, and the Peyote. Vapid is the first vehicle manufacturer widely identified in GTA 6 marketing: in Trailer 2, analysts at IGN flagged a blue El Camino-style coupé (at 13:26 in their breakdown) as a Vapid, making it the earliest community-identified carryover of the HD-universe brand ecosystem into Leonida. That read comes from a recognisable body style rather than an on-screen badge or an official Rockstar brand list — Rockstar has not published GTA 6's manufacturer roster — but it is the strongest brand signal in the trailers so far. Rockstar's June 2026 pre-order screenshots then confirmed the marque outright — the pre-order bonus car is a '55 Vapid Stanier (with a matching garage) — making Vapid one of the first officially shown GTA 6 manufacturers.
