Karin is the in-fiction Grand Theft Auto manufacturer modelled on Japanese makers, chiefly Toyota and Nissan. It supplies reliable economy cars, off-roaders, and — importantly for the tuner scene — some of the series' most-modified sport compacts. Its catalogued nameplate in this database is the Sultan (and the boxy Sultan Classic, a Nissan Skyline analog); other Karin staples include the bullet-resistant Kuruma, the Futo drift coupe, the Rebel, the Asterope sedan, and the Intruder. Karin has not been confirmed for GTA 6. Rockstar has published no manufacturer roster, and no Karin badge or model has been positively identified in the trailers. The marque appears here on its long series history rather than any official statement, and trailer-based Karin attributions are community inference. Given how central Japanese tuner culture is to GTA's car-meet scene — heavily teased in Trailer 2's personalisation shots — Karin is a strong bet to return.
