Stretch

The Stretch is a long-wheelbase limousine and a recurring fixture of the Grand Theft Auto series, first appearing in GTA III and returning in GTA Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V. It is modeled on classic American stretch limos — particularly the Lincoln Town Car conversions that were popular in 1980s and 1990s Miami — and is one of the longest civilian vehicles in the franchise. Stretches in past games are notoriously slow off the line and unwieldy around corners, but offer a smooth top end and a roomy passenger cabin. A Vice City-era Miami-style stretch limo is visible in GTA 6 Trailer 1, consistent with the game's nightlife and tourism setting.
