Maverick

The Maverick is a four-seat civilian utility helicopter modeled after the Bell 206 JetRanger. It is one of the longest-running aircraft in the Grand Theft Auto series, first appearing in GTA III (2001) and returning in Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV, and GTA V. Across entries it has appeared in three main variants: the civilian Maverick (news and private use), the Police Maverick (law enforcement pursuit chopper), and in some titles a coastguard or air ambulance variant. A Police Maverick is visible in Trailer 2, hovering over a chase sequence in Vice City, confirming the model's return for GTA 6. Handling is forgiving compared to heavier helicopters like the Annihilator or Cargobob, making it the default light-utility rotorcraft of the series. Expect rooftop and helipad spawns once the map is fully explored.
